About the original
Coogi was founded in Toorak, Victoria in 1969 by Jacky Taranto and built its reputation in the 1990s on multicolor 3D-jacquard sweater-knits in mercerized cotton — the sweaters worn on stage by the Notorious B.I.G. across the Ready to Die and Life After Death era. The jacket is a trucker-silhouette cut from Coogi's signature textured jacquard knit with a contrast tan corduroy collar, snap-front placket, flap chest pockets, and a co-branded Coogi/Supreme jacquard viscose lining. Released for Spring/Summer 2023 in blue and black multicolor; the trucker pattern is exclusive to the Supreme collaboration.
