About the original
JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS MAN is the menswear line of Junya Watanabe, who began designing under the Comme des Garçons umbrella in 1984 and launched his own label in 1992 after serving as a pattern maker and designer for Rei Kawakubo. The Fall/Winter 2021 Supreme collaboration was the first between the two houses and spanned more than forty pieces. This hooded sweatshirt is cotton fleece with rib gussets and a front pouch pocket, featuring a co-branded "Supreme / JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS MAN" printed box logo at the lower front. It retailed for $178 and was released in black, royal, and two floral print colorways — produced exclusively for the collaboration.
