Denali Etip Gloves
About the original
The North Face Denali Etip Gloves are made from the brand's heavyweight Denali polyester fleece with a lightly abrasion-resistant reinforced palm, five-finger touchscreen compatibility via conductive yarn at the index and thumb, silicone gripper print across the palm, and an elastic cuff that seals against a jacket sleeve. They share a fabric and color language with the Denali Jacket, introduced in 1988. The gloves retail for $45 through The North Face and REI as part of the brand's cold-weather accessories line. Supreme's SS20 collab prints the box logo on the back of the hand with co-branded TNF graphics and retailed at $98, more than double the standard price.
About The North Face
The North Face is an American outdoor apparel and equipment company founded in 1966 by Douglas and Susie Tompkins as a mountaineering retail store in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. The company introduced the Sierra down parka in 1968 and the geodesic Oval Intention tent in 1975, and its Nuptse down jacket, released in 1992, is named for the 7,861-meter Himalayan peak. The brand now produces the Summit Series, Steep Tech, and Denali fleece lines under VF Corporation ownership. Supreme and The North Face have run one of streetwear's longest ongoing collaborations, releasing seasonal capsules each spring and fall since 2007.
