About the original

The Supreme/Vanson Leathers Cordura Denim Racing Pant is a straight-leg denim motorcycle pant built from Cordura-blend cotton denim with articulated knee darts, pre-curved seat pleating, and adjustable tab closures at the waistband. The pant carries embroidered Supreme wordmarks down both outseams, a woven Vanson oval patch at the front pocket, and a Supreme leather patch at the right thigh. Vanson Leathers has hand-made motorcycle apparel in Fall River, Massachusetts since Michael van der Sleesen founded the company in Boston in 1974, supplying AMA Superbike teams and exporting heavily to Japan. Cordura was originally introduced by DuPont as a high-tenacity rayon in 1929 and was reformulated as a high-abrasion nylon in 1966. The pant was made exclusively for Supreme; it released Week 13 of Fall/Winter 2022 at $398.

About Vanson Leathers

Vanson Leathers is an American motorcycle apparel manufacturer founded in 1974 by Mike van der Sleesen and Jamie Goodson in Boston, Massachusetts. The company's name is a portmanteau of the founders' surnames. Production moved to Fall River in 1987, where it still operates from the Laurel Lake Mill. Vanson made its reputation building racing leathers for Daytona 200 winner Dale Singleton in 1979, and has since outfitted riders including Freddie Spencer, Giacomo Agostini, and Nicky Hayden. Each jacket is cut and sewn by hand, with up to 126 steps per garment. Supreme has collaborated with Vanson on leather jackets and racing suits.
