Supreme x Vanson Leathers x GORE-TEX Shell Jacket
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
Original — Vanson Leathers
Shell Jacket
About the original
Vanson Leathers was founded in Boston in 1974 by Mike van der Sleesen and has built competition motorcycle leathers for AMA racers and hand-cut jackets in Fall River, Massachusetts ever since. GORE-TEX is the PTFE-membrane waterproof laminate developed by W. L. Gore in 1969. The FW25 collab combines a GORE-TEX 3-layer shell with the visual language of a Vanson racing jacket — a large front Vanson Leathers chevron, printed sponsor patches (K&N, Klotz, Wiseco, Sunoco), a hooded construction, and co-branded trim. The shell fabric and racing graphic layout are exclusive to this Supreme release.
About Vanson Leathers
Vanson Leathers is an American motorcycle apparel manufacturer founded in 1974 by Mike van der Sleesen and Jamie Goodson in Boston, Massachusetts. The company's name is a portmanteau of the founders' surnames. Production moved to Fall River in 1987, where it still operates from the Laurel Lake Mill. Vanson made its reputation building racing leathers for Daytona 200 winner Dale Singleton in 1979, and has since outfitted riders including Freddie Spencer, Giacomo Agostini, and Nicky Hayden. Each jacket is cut and sewn by hand, with up to 126 steps per garment. Supreme has collaborated with Vanson on leather jackets and racing suits.
