Supreme x Y's by Yohji Yamamoto Leather Jacket
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
Original — Y's
Leather Jacket (Supreme exclusive)
About the original
Y's is the label Yohji Yamamoto launched in Tokyo in 1972, his first ready-to-wear line, predating the mainline Yohji Yamamoto collection by nine years and still in production today under Yamamoto's Yohji Yamamoto Inc. The line is womenswear-focused and built on the same draped, oversized silhouettes that define the mainline. The jacket is a boxy zip-front cowhide leather with a pointed collar, zipped welt chest pocket, two zipped hand pockets, and an interior zipper. Both sleeves are finished with an airbrushed skull-and-thorns graphic that reads "SUPREME" in the bones. Released September 11, 2025 at $1,298, produced for this Supreme x Y's collaboration only and not part of the standard Y's seasonal range.
About Y's
Y's is a Japanese fashion label founded in 1972 by Yohji Yamamoto in Tokyo, established as Y's Company Ltd. before the eponymous Yohji Yamamoto line debuted in Paris in 1981. The label began with menswear-inspired womenswear cut in oversized, uncluttered shapes from washed fabrics in dark colors, drawing on the work clothes of post-war Japanese blue-collar laborers. Yamamoto graduated from Keio University in law in 1966 before studying at Bunka Fashion College. Y's remains the foundation of the Yohji Yamamoto group alongside Yohji Yamamoto and Y-3. Supreme has collaborated with Y's on co-branded outerwear and tailoring.
