Chapman Manufacturing is an American tool maker founded in 1936 by John W. Chapman in a garage on Meeting House Hill Road in Durham, Connecticut. The company produces hollow-ground quarter-inch drive screwdriver bits, midget ratchets, and driver handles, all manufactured from American steel at the Durham facility it has occupied since 1965. Chapman tool sets were specified for the USS Nautilus, the first nuclear-powered submarine, and remain standard issue for gunsmiths, watchmakers, and instrument repair. Bill and Doris LeVee bought the company in 1965, and Tracy Camassar acquired it in 2012. Supreme has collaborated with Chapman Manufacturing on a co-branded screwdriver set.
