Franklin Sports is an American sporting goods manufacturer founded in 1946 in Brockton, Massachusetts, by brothers Irving and Sidney Franklin, sons of Russian immigrants, who built their first products from scrap leather discarded by local shoe factories. The company supplied trigger-finger mittens to the United States military during the Korean War and partnered with Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Mike Schmidt in 1983 to design a pro-grade batting glove, eventually capturing roughly 80 percent of the MLB batting glove market. Franklin is the official batting glove of Major League Baseball. Supreme's collaboration applied its logo to Franklin baseball gloves and pickleball equipment.
