Hario is a Japanese heatproof-glass manufacturer founded in 1921 in Kanda-Sudacho, Tokyo, as Hiromu Shibata Works. The name combines "Hari" (glass) and "Ou" (king). Hario started by producing laboratory glassware, expanded into household goods in 1948 with a coffee siphon, and is the only borosilicate-glass manufacturer in Japan operating its own factory. The V60 conical pour-over dripper, named for its 60-degree cone, was released commercially in 2005 and has won six World Brewers Cup titles. Hario's lab line includes the SF-500 500ml Erlenmeyer flask. Supreme collaborated with Hario on a co-branded SF-500 Erlenmeyer flask.
