Mizuno Corporation is a Japanese sportswear and sporting goods manufacturer founded in 1906 in Osaka by brothers Rihachi and Rizo Mizuno as Mizuno Brothers, Ltd. Rihachi, a former kimono shop worker, had seen a baseball game in Kyoto at eighteen and opened a Western sundries shop that began selling order-made athletic wear in 1907 and manufacturing baseballs and gloves in 1913. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971. Mizuno now produces baseball, golf, running, volleyball, and tennis equipment used by professional athletes worldwide. Supreme has collaborated with Mizuno on co-branded baseball equipment and apparel.
