SealLine is an American waterproof bag maker founded in 1985 in Seattle, Washington as part of Cascade Designs, the outdoor manufacturer started by former Boeing engineers in 1972. SealLine introduced its dual-strip roll-top closure in 1986, originally for the maritime industry before kayakers and rafters adopted the bags. The Discovery Dry Bag uses a 19-ounce coated polyester body with RF-welded seams, available in 5L, 20L, and larger sizes. Cascade Designs also owns Therm-a-Rest, MSR, and Platypus, and manufactures most SealLine products in its Seattle and Cork, Ireland facilities.
