Specialized Bicycle Components is an American bicycle manufacturer founded in 1974 by Mike Sinyard in Morgan Hill, California. The company released the Stumpjumper in 1981, the first mass-produced mountain bike, and has since built one of the broadest ranges in cycling, spanning road, mountain, gravel, cyclocross, and electric bikes. Its S-Works line represents the top of the catalog, used by UCI WorldTour teams including Soudal Quick-Step and Bora-Hansgrohe. Specialized also operates the Retul fit system and Body Geometry component program developed with sports medicine researchers. Supreme has collaborated with Specialized on co-branded bicycles and accessories.
