Timex Group USA is an American watchmaker descended from the Waterbury Clock Company, founded in 1854 in Waterbury, Connecticut. The company mass-produced dollar pocket watches in the late 1800s, manufactured fuzes during both World Wars, and relaunched as Timex in 1969. Its 1950s advertising campaign featuring John Cameron Swayze and the slogan Takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking established the brand's reputation for durability. Current lines include the Marlin mechanical reissue, the Expedition outdoor series, the Ironman sports watch, and the Q Timex 1970s-style diver. Supreme collaborated with Timex on co-branded sport watches.
