Supreme Pipe Skate Key
Supreme vs. Original

Original — Carver
Pipewrench All-in-One Pocket Skate Tool
About the original
The Carver Pipewrench is an all-in-one pocket skate tool machined from tool-grade stainless steel, under 2 inches long, combining two magnetic Allen drivers with 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch, and 7/16-inch wrench sockets — the three sizes needed to service most skateboard trucks and axle nuts. Carver Skateboards was founded in 1995 by Greg Falk and Neil Carver in Venice, California, and builds surf-style trucks designed to replicate wave dynamics on concrete; the Pipewrench is a workshop tool the company produces as a compact companion to its surfskate setups. The FW2020 Supreme version is a polished metal pipe-shaped skate key built to the same spec with the box logo applied to the barrel; it retailed at $38 against Carver's $20.
About Carver
Carver Skateboards is an American surfskate manufacturer founded in 1996 in Venice, California by surfers Neil Carver and Greg Falk. The two developed a spring-loaded front truck to mimic surfboard carving on pavement, releasing the dual-axis C7 truck in 1996 and later the reverse-kingpin CX truck for faster, more stable rides. Carver's patented trucks are paired with shaped decks that reference specific surfboard outlines, and the brand produces complete boards, trucks, and wheels in its Los Angeles facility. The company is widely used by professional surfers for off-day training. Supreme produced a co-branded Carver deck in 2024.
