About the original
The Castelli Cycling Cap is a lightweight under-helmet cotton cap with a short brim, made in Italy and cut to sit flat beneath a road helmet while shielding the eyes from sun and rain. Castelli was founded in 1876 in Monza and is the oldest cycling-apparel brand in the world. It has outfitted Team Inox, Mercatone Uno, and Quick-Step Floors, among others, and its caps are standard issue across the professional peloton. The SS2025 collab is a three-way drop with Nickelodeon, applying SpongeBob SquarePants graphics to the cap panels alongside Supreme and Castelli branding. About Castelli
Castelli is an Italian cycling apparel manufacturer tracing its origins to an 1876 Milan tailoring shop run by Vittore Gianni, which clothed football clubs including Milan and Juventus and cyclists including Alfredo Binda. Armando Castelli joined in 1935 and bought the business, supplying Gino Bartali, Fausto Coppi, and Jacques Anquetil. In 1974 his son Maurizio Castelli founded the current company under the scorpion logo, and in 1977 introduced Lycra to cycling shorts, a first in the sport.
