Supreme x Champion Sherpa Lined Hooded Jacket
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The Champion Sherpa-Lined Hooded Jacket is a heavyweight pullover hoodie with a sherpa fleece liner across the body and hood, built on Champion's standard reverse-weave-style cotton-poly shell. Champion was founded in Rochester, New York in 1919 by the Feinbloom brothers and supplied the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with athletic wear in the 1930s, when the company developed its reverse-weave construction to limit shrinkage. The Supreme FW17 collab applies a co-branded chest hit and was part of a multi-season Champion partnership that also included FW16 and SS18 hoodies. Construction is the same heavyweight Champion pullover; the sherpa lining and co-branding are the changes for this season.
About Champion
Champion is an American sportswear company founded in 1919 by Simon Feinbloom and his sons William and Abraham in Rochester, New York, originally as Knickerbocker Knitting Mills. The company supplied athletic uniforms to the University of Michigan in the 1920s and to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point shortly after. Champion developed the reverse-weave sweatshirt in 1938, a construction that runs the fabric crosswise to limit shrinkage, and produced the first hooded sweatshirts for cold-weather laborers and athletes. HanesBrands has owned the label since 2006. Supreme has collaborated with Champion on co-branded hoodies, crewnecks, and sweatpants since the early 2000s.
