Supreme x Champion Zip Up Hooded Sweatshirt
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The Champion Zip-Up Hooded Sweatshirt is a full-zip version of Champion's reverse-weave pullover, built in heavyweight cotton fleece with cross-grain side panels that prevent vertical shrinkage. Champion was founded in Rochester, New York in 1919 by the Feinbloom brothers and patented the reverse-weave construction in 1952 after refining the technique for collegiate athletic programs. The Supreme SS24 collab applies a co-branded chest hit on Champion's standard zip-up silhouette with set-in sleeves, ribbed cuffs and hem, and metal zipper hardware. Construction matches the Champion Reverse Weave Full Zip Hoodie sold under the brand's own line; the co-branding and seasonal colorways are the only changes.
About Champion
Champion is an American sportswear company founded in 1919 by Simon Feinbloom and his sons William and Abraham in Rochester, New York, originally as Knickerbocker Knitting Mills. The company supplied athletic uniforms to the University of Michigan in the 1920s and to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point shortly after. Champion developed the reverse-weave sweatshirt in 1938, a construction that runs the fabric crosswise to limit shrinkage, and produced the first hooded sweatshirts for cold-weather laborers and athletes. HanesBrands has owned the label since 2006. Supreme has collaborated with Champion on co-branded hoodies, crewnecks, and sweatpants since the early 2000s.
