Supreme x Coogi Baggy Jean
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
Original — Coogi
Baggy Jean (Supreme exclusive)
About the original
The Supreme x Coogi Baggy Jean is a five-pocket baggy-fit denim pant cut from 14 oz. cotton denim with Coogi's signature multicolor 3D-jacquard knit panels inset at the back yoke and coin pocket, co-branded leather patch at the waistband, and button fly. Coogi was founded in 1969 in Toorak, a suburb of Melbourne, as Cuggi by Jacky Taranto, producing mercerized-cotton knitwear before rebranding to Coogi in 1987. The label's chunky multicolor jacquard became a cultural marker in the 1990s after Notorious B.I.G. wore Coogi sweaters on magazine covers and name-checked it in multiple tracks. Coogi does not produce its own denim line; the jacquard-inset baggy jean is exclusive to this SS23 release and retailed at $198 in blue and black.
About Coogi
Coogi is an Australian knitwear brand founded in 1969 in Melbourne by Jacky Taranto, originally under the spelling CUGGI before being renamed COOGI in 1987. The company produces multicolor three-dimensional jacquard knitwear from merino wool, with raised, textured patterns in dense color combinations. Biggie Smalls wore Coogi sweaters throughout the mid-1990s and namechecked the brand on Hypnotize and One More Chance, attaching it to East Coast hip-hop iconography. Supreme has collaborated with Coogi on a co-branded multicolor knit sweater.
