About the original

Hanes Tagless ComfortSoft boxer briefs (style 7460) are mid-rise all-cotton knit underwear with a covered ComfortSoft elastic waistband, a tagless interior, and a closed-fly front panel. Hanes was founded in 1901 by brothers Pleasant Henderson Hanes and John Wesley Hanes in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and has been the largest US manufacturer of men's underwear for decades; the Tagless technology, which replaced sewn-in labels with a heat-transfer print, was introduced in 2002. The SS19 Supreme collab is a two-pair pack of the Tagless boxer brief printed in an allover leopard-spot pattern with a black waistband carrying a repeated Supreme wordmark in white. Released February 21, 2019 at $28.

About Hanes

Hanes is an American apparel manufacturer founded in 1901 by John Wesley Hanes in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as Shamrock Mills. The company started making infants' and men's socks before expanding into underwear, T-shirts, and hosiery; it was renamed Hanes Hosiery Mills in 1914. Today Hanesbrands is one of the largest basic apparel producers in the world, with core product lines including cotton crewneck T-shirts, boxer briefs, tagless undershirts, and athletic socks sold in multipacks. Supreme has used Hanes as the base for its branded boxer briefs and T-shirt multipacks.
