Hellraiser BDU Shirt
About the original
The Supreme x Hellraiser BDU Shirt is a military-spec cotton ripstop shirt cut on a traditional Battle Dress Uniform pattern: two chest patch pockets, two lower patch pockets, and a concealed button placket. The front and back are screen-printed with stills and title art from the 1987 Clive Barker film Hellraiser, and the left sleeve carries an embroidered Supreme wordmark. Released Spring/Summer 2018 on April 26 at $228 in black, olive, and red camo colorways. Hellraiser was produced by New World Pictures and adapted from Barker's novella The Hellbound Heart; the film's rights sit with Dimension Films. The shirt was a licensed one-off for Supreme and was never part of any standalone Hellraiser merchandise program.
About Hellraiser
Hellraiser is a British horror franchise based on Clive Barker's 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart. Barker wrote and directed the 1987 film, which introduced the Cenobites and the Lament Configuration puzzle box designed by 18th-century occultist Philip LeMarchand within the fiction. Doug Bradley played the lead Cenobite, nicknamed Pinhead by fans and crew, across eight films. The original was produced for $1 million and grossed $30 million; the franchise has since expanded to ten films, comics, and a 2022 reboot. Barker reclaimed U.S. rights in 2021. Supreme has collaborated with Hellraiser on graphic t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories.
