The mophie powerstation Go Rugged Compact combines an 8,100mAh lithium battery with a 12V car jump starter rated at 800 peak amps, dual USB-A charging ports, an LED floodlight with SOS mode, and shock-proof jumper cables, all packaged in a unit small enough to fit in a glove box. Mophie was founded in 2005 in Austin, Texas and built its reputation on the Juice Pack iPhone battery cases before expanding into portable power; the brand was acquired by ZAGG in 2016. The powerstation Go Rugged Compact retails for $100 at mophie and other consumer-electronics retailers. The FW20 Supreme version released at $188 with a co-branded case treatment.
