About New York Yankees

The New York Yankees are an American Major League Baseball franchise founded in 1901 as the Baltimore Orioles of the American League and relocated to New York in 1903, where they were renamed the Highlanders and then the Yankees in 1913. The team holds 27 World Series titles, the most of any MLB franchise, and has fielded Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, and Derek Jeter. The interlocking NY mark was designed by Tiffany and Co. in 1877 and has remained on the cap and jersey since 1909. Supreme's Yankees collaborations pair that mark with its box logo.
