Supreme vs. Original

Original — Nike
Nike Denim Short (Supreme exclusive)
About the original
Nike was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports in Eugene, Oregon by University of Oregon runner Phil Knight and his coach Bill Bowerman, initially importing Onitsuka Tiger running shoes from Japan. The company was renamed Nike in 1971 after the Greek goddess of victory, adopted the Swoosh the same year, and is the largest athletic footwear and apparel brand in the world, headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon. Nike does not produce a denim short outside of this collaboration. The SS2024 Supreme/Nike Denim Short is a standard five-pocket short with a fixed waistband, a Supreme box logo embroidered on the back yoke, and a co-branded Nike and Supreme leather patch. It released May 16, 2024 in indigo, black, and natural washes at $128.
About Nike
Nike is an American sportswear corporation founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by track coach Bill Bowerman and runner Phil Knight in Eugene, Oregon, and renamed Nike in 1971. The Swoosh was designed that same year by graphic design student Carolyn Davidson for thirty-five dollars. Bowerman prototyped the Cortez and the waffle-sole Moon Shoe, and the Air Max line, introduced in 1987, made Tinker Hatfield's visible-air midsole a signature. Nike now produces footwear and apparel across running, basketball, football, and training, and owns Jordan Brand and Converse. Supreme has collaborated with Nike repeatedly since 2002 across Air Force 1, Air Max, and Dunk.
