Supreme x Nike NBA Headband
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

Original — Nike
NBA Headband
About the original
Nike's NBA On-Court Dri-FIT headband is the official sweatband worn by NBA players during games, built from breathable open-knit fabric with moisture-wicking nylon construction, a doubled-over 2-inch face, and stretch binding that fits over the forehead without slipping. Nike has held the exclusive on-court apparel and accessories license for the NBA since the 2017–18 season, replacing adidas as the league's sole outfitter. The standard headband sells for $15 through Nike, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the NBA Store. Supreme's SS19 collab adds box logo and Swoosh embroidery in several team colorways and retailed at $30, double the standard price.
About Nike
Nike is an American sportswear corporation founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by track coach Bill Bowerman and runner Phil Knight in Eugene, Oregon, and renamed Nike in 1971. The Swoosh was designed that same year by graphic design student Carolyn Davidson for thirty-five dollars. Bowerman prototyped the Cortez and the waffle-sole Moon Shoe, and the Air Max line, introduced in 1987, made Tinker Hatfield's visible-air midsole a signature. Nike now produces footwear and apparel across running, basketball, football, and training, and owns Jordan Brand and Converse. Supreme has collaborated with Nike repeatedly since 2002 across Air Force 1, Air Max, and Dunk.
