About the original
The Nike Gato was introduced in 2010 as part of Nike's Nike5 futsal line, built for sala with a low-profile indoor sole and Lunarlon cushioning. Skaters adopted it for its flat gum outsole and thin profile, and Nike SB formally released the silhouette in 2013. The original upper combines suede and leather over a gum rubber outsole. The Supreme version uses a calfskin leather upper, lenticular side panels, a Cushlon midsole, and "World Famous" heel typography, released in Fall/Winter 2018 in four colorways.
