About the original
A full-length shearling coat with a notched lapel, patch pockets, and a belted waist. Schott NYC was founded in 1913 by Irving and Jack Schott on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and made the first leather motorcycle jacket, the Perfecto, in 1928. Shearling is tanned sheepskin with the wool left intact on the inside, worn as both insulation and lining in a single panel. The Supreme version was cut from Australian merino shearling with leather trim at the collar and cuffs.
