About the original
The Supreme x The Great China Wall Canvas 5-Pocket Jean was produced exclusively for Supreme's Fall/Winter 2022 collection. It is cut in the shape of a classic five-pocket jean but constructed from heavyweight cotton canvas with a pigment-dye wash, and carries the brand's signature embroidered skull motifs across the front pockets along with Chinese-character embroidery down the left leg. The Great China Wall is a Los Angeles boutique brand founded in 2000 by Alfredo Settimio, known for reworking vintage military garments with Swarovski, skulls, and Asian-inspired embroidery during the aughts luxury-denim era. No standalone TGCW version of this jean was produced — the canvas 5-pocket was a collab-only cut.
