Supreme version
Original — The Velvet Underground
Hooded Sweatshirt (Supreme exclusive)
About the original
The Velvet Underground formed in New York in 1964 and released their debut album, The Velvet Underground & Nico, in 1967 with Andy Warhol's peelable banana cover. The Supreme x The Velvet Underground Hooded Sweatshirt is a heavyweight cotton crossgrain fleece pullover with a drawstring hood, kangaroo pouch pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a licensed black-and-white photograph of Lou Reed, John Cale, Sterling Morrison, and Maureen Tucker screen-printed across the chest. A woven Supreme box logo sits at the back neck. The hoodie released on September 19, 2019 at $178 and was sold only as a Supreme collaboration — the band's estate does not manufacture a standalone equivalent.
