6" Premium Waterproof Boot
About the original
The Timberland 6" Premium Waterproof Boot is built on waterproof full-grain nubuck leather, direct-attach construction that bonds the upper to the midsole without adhesives, and a lugged SBS rubber outsole. Timberland was founded in Abington, Massachusetts in 1973; the 6" Premium was the company's first boot and the foundation of its entire line. For this FW2023 release, Supreme applied an embossed diamond-plate pattern to the upper, referencing industrial floor sheeting, and issued it in three colorways: wheat, black, and pink. The underlying silhouette and construction are the standard 6" Premium Waterproof Boot Timberland sells at retail.
About Timberland
Timberland is an American footwear and apparel company founded in 1952 by Nathan Swartz as the Abington Shoe Company in Abington, Massachusetts, and later headquartered in Stratham, New Hampshire. In 1973 the company introduced the first injection-molded waterproof leather boot, branded as the Timberland, and adopted the name as its own. The wheat-colored 6-Inch Premium became a staple of 1990s hip-hop fashion, construction trades, and New York street dress. The company, now part of VF Corporation, also produces the Earthkeepers and PRO lines. Supreme and Timberland have collaborated on seasonal footwear and outerwear since 2002.
