Ripstop Nylon Jacket

About the original

Timberland was founded in 1973 in Abington, Massachusetts by Nathan Swartz, who built the brand on the original injection-molded waterproof leather boot, the 10061 yellow boot. The Mt. Maddsen and Benton shell lines use a ripstop nylon outer face with a polyfilled insulated lining for cold-weather transitional wear, with taped seams on the outdoor specs. The FW21 Supreme version is a reversible anorak-cut jacket with a ripstop nylon face on one side and a coordinating smooth nylon reverse, a full-length front zip, kangaroo chest pocket, and Timberland tree-logo embroidery opposite a Supreme wordmark; it released August 26, 2021 in four colorways and was a Supreme exclusive not stocked through Timberland's own retail channel.

About Timberland

Timberland is an American footwear and apparel company founded in 1952 by Nathan Swartz as the Abington Shoe Company in Abington, Massachusetts, and later headquartered in Stratham, New Hampshire. In 1973 the company introduced the first injection-molded waterproof leather boot, branded as the Timberland, and adopted the name as its own. The wheat-colored 6-Inch Premium became a staple of 1990s hip-hop fashion, construction trades, and New York street dress. The company, now part of VF Corporation, also produces the Earthkeepers and PRO lines. Supreme and Timberland have collaborated on seasonal footwear and outerwear since 2002.
