Supreme x UNDERCOVER Lupin Tee
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The Supreme x UNDERCOVER Lupin Tee is a short-sleeve cotton jersey t-shirt featuring a licensed graphic from Lupin III, the manga and anime franchise created by Monkey Punch in 1967. UNDERCOVER, founded by Jun Takahashi in Tokyo in 1990, has built repeated collections around manga and film references, and the SS23 Supreme collaboration printed a multi-figure scene depicting Arsene Lupin III seated and flanked by Fujiko Mine and Daisuke Jigen in a marionette-style composition. Below the graphic, the print reads UNDERCOVER SUPREME 2023. The shirt is standard 6-ounce cotton with a crew neck and short sleeves, released in multiple colorways. Lupin III licensing for apparel is rare outside of Japan, which made this collaboration a notable get.
About UNDERCOVER
UNDERCOVER is a Japanese fashion label founded in 1990 by Jun Takahashi in Tokyo while he was still studying at Bunka Fashion College. Takahashi opened the Nowhere store in Ura-Harajuku in 1993 with BAPE founder Nigo, making the two labels central to the neighborhood's 1990s streetwear movement. UNDERCOVER showed at Tokyo Fashion Week starting in 1994 and moved to the Paris runway in 2002 at Rei Kawakubo's invitation. The brand draws on punk, horror, and dada-influenced graphics, and its motto "We make noise, not clothes" has appeared across collections since the late 1990s. Supreme has collaborated with UNDERCOVER on co-branded outerwear, T-shirts, and Public Enemy-themed capsules.
