Supreme x Y's by Yohji Yamamoto Zip Up Hooded Sweatshirt
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The Ys by Yohji Yamamoto zip up hooded sweatshirt is a cotton French terry full-zip hoodie with embroidered skull-and-crossed-scissors graphics on the body and sleeves and the Supreme wordmark knit across the hood. Ys is the diffusion line Yohji Yamamoto launched in Tokyo in 1977 as a womens-first label; the Ys for Men sub-label ran from 1979 until it went on hiatus in 2010 and was revived at the FW23-24 Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme runway, and this Supreme collaboration sits under that revived mens line. This Fall/Winter 2025 collaboration is a Supreme exclusive design; Ys does not sell a standalone version. Retail was $248. Available in Black, Natural, and Washed Red.
About Y's
Y's is a Japanese fashion label founded in 1972 by Yohji Yamamoto in Tokyo, established as Y's Company Ltd. before the eponymous Yohji Yamamoto line debuted in Paris in 1981. The label began with menswear-inspired womenswear cut in oversized, uncluttered shapes from washed fabrics in dark colors, drawing on the work clothes of post-war Japanese blue-collar laborers. Yamamoto graduated from Keio University in law in 1966 before studying at Bunka Fashion College. Y's remains the foundation of the Yohji Yamamoto group alongside Yohji Yamamoto and Y-3. Supreme has collaborated with Y's on co-branded outerwear and tailoring.
