Identifying the original

Every entry starts with a Supreme release and ends with the specific product it's based on — brand, model, and where to buy it. We work from season drop archives, the original manufacturer's own catalog, and retailer listings. An entry only exists on this site if the original does: Supreme designs with no non-Supreme counterpart (box logo pieces, Supreme-exclusive graphics and cuts) are excluded, and when a two-pass review can't confirm an original exists, the entry is removed rather than published on a guess.

Verifying prices

Supreme retail prices are checked against archived drop data — the price the item actually sold for on release day, in USD. Original retail prices come from the manufacturer or a stocking retailer, and mean the list price of the product itself, not a sale price, not resale, and not a different generation of the same model. Every price added since mid-2026 has been independently re-verified against a second source before publication, and the pre-existing catalog was fully re-audited the same way in July 2026.

The hype tax

The hype tax is Supreme's retail price over the original's retail price, as a percent markup — resale prices are never part of the calculation. The comparison runs both directions: when Supreme priced a collab at or below the original's retail, the page says so instead of inventing a markup. Sitewide statistics (the average and median markup quoted in our articles) are computed from the catalog at build time, so they update automatically as entries are added or corrected.

Missing data stays missing

Pricing is optional by design. Some items are too old for reliable drop records, and some originals are discontinued with no archived list price. When that happens the field stays empty — an unverifiable number is worse than no number. The same applies to images and buy links: a wrong product photo or a search-results link never stands in for the real thing.

Corrections

Entries carry the date they were last modified, and the full catalog is available for inspection on the data page. If you find an error — a wrong original, a mispriced item, a dead link — email contact@noboxlogo.com and we'll re-verify against the sources above.
