About the original
The Castelli Aero Race 6.0 Jersey is a race-fit short-sleeve cycling jersey with its fabric panels and seams placed by CFD airflow modelling to cut drag at racing speeds of roughly 30 to 55 km/h. It uses Castelli's stretch Velocity Rev2 fabric across the front and sleeves, a 3D-mesh back for airflow, a full-length YKK zip, and three rear cargo pockets. The Castelli brand was founded by Maurizio Castelli in 1974 and traces its lineage to the Vittore Gianni tailoring workshop opened in Milan in 1876; Castelli is credited with the first Lycra racing shorts and the first sublimation-printed cycling jerseys. Supreme re-released the Aero Race across seasons in its own colorways.
About Castelli
Castelli is an Italian cycling apparel manufacturer tracing its origins to an 1876 Milan tailoring shop run by Vittore Gianni, which clothed football clubs including Milan and Juventus and cyclists including Alfredo Binda. Armando Castelli joined in 1935 and bought the business, supplying Gino Bartali, Fausto Coppi, and Jacques Anquetil. In 1974 his son Maurizio Castelli founded the current company under the scorpion logo, and in 1977 introduced Lycra to cycling shorts, a first in the sport. Castelli now outfits UCI WorldTour teams including Soudal Quick-Step and produces the Gabba jersey line. Supreme has released co-branded Castelli cycling apparel.
