Supreme x Hanes Crew Socks
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
Supreme's four-pack of Hanes crew socks has been part of nearly every Supreme season since the brand began offering basics. The socks are standard Hanes cushion crew socks in white or black with a small Supreme logo on the leg — the same cotton-blend construction as the non-branded version. Like the tees and boxer briefs, they represent the most accessible entry point into Supreme's lineup and one of the clearest examples of the hype tax on everyday basics.
About Hanes
Hanes is an American apparel manufacturer founded in 1901 by John Wesley Hanes in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as Shamrock Mills. The company started making infants' and men's socks before expanding into underwear, T-shirts, and hosiery; it was renamed Hanes Hosiery Mills in 1914. Today Hanesbrands is one of the largest basic apparel producers in the world, with core product lines including cotton crewneck T-shirts, boxer briefs, tagless undershirts, and athletic socks sold in multipacks. Supreme has used Hanes as the base for its branded boxer briefs and T-shirt multipacks.
