About the original
The Nike Air Force 1 '07 is the low-top version of the shoe Bruce Kilgore designed in 1982 — the first basketball shoe built with Nike Air cushioning, an encapsulated air unit set into the sole. It takes its name from Air Force One, the U.S. president's plane. Kilgore's was also the first Nike to use slip-lasted construction, pulling the upper tightly over the last for a more flexible fit, set on a thick rubber outsole. The '07 is the standard retail version Nike introduced in 2007 and still sells. Supreme has re-released co-branded AF1 Lows across seasons; the silhouette, the sole, and the air unit are Nike's own.
About Nike
