Jawbone is an American consumer-electronics company founded in 1999 as Aliph by Hosain Rahman and Alexander Asseily in San Francisco, California, and renamed Jawbone in 2010. The company built Bluetooth headsets, the UP activity tracker, and — with Yves Béhar as chief creative officer — the JAMBOX, a compact wireless speaker launched in 2010 that helped establish the portable Bluetooth speaker category. Once valued at around $3 billion, Jawbone struggled against lower-cost competitors and entered liquidation in July 2017, discontinuing its hardware. Supreme collaborated with Jawbone on a co-branded red Mini Jambox speaker.
