Woolrich is an American wool and outdoor apparel company founded in 1830 by John Rich in Plum Run, Pennsylvania, making it the oldest continuously operating woolen mill in the United States. The company supplied blankets to Union soldiers during the Civil War and has produced wool blankets, shirts, and outerwear in the same Pennsylvania region for nearly two centuries. Woolrich introduced its buffalo-check pattern in 1850, and its Arctic Parka, originally developed in 1972 for workers on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, remains in production. Supreme has collaborated with Woolrich on co-branded buffalo-check outerwear and wool blankets.
