Supreme x Woolrich Wool Throw Blanket
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The Woolrich Wool Throw Blanket is a woven wool blanket produced by Woolrich, the oldest continuously operating woolen mill in the United States, founded in 1830 by John Rich II in Plum Run, Pennsylvania. Rich relocated the mill to nearby Chatham Run in 1845, founding the company town of Woolrich, Pennsylvania, where the original mill continued operating until 2018. The company supplied wool blankets to Union soldiers during the Civil War, produced the buffalo-check Pennsylvania Tuxedo wool shirt in 1850, and outfitted the Byrd Antarctic expeditions of the 1930s. The Supreme FW2017 version uses the same loom-woven wool construction with a box logo label, offered in the brand's signature plaid colorways.
About Woolrich
Woolrich is an American wool and outdoor apparel company founded in 1830 by John Rich in Plum Run, Pennsylvania, making it the oldest continuously operating woolen mill in the United States. The company supplied blankets to Union soldiers during the Civil War and has produced wool blankets, shirts, and outerwear in the same Pennsylvania region for nearly two centuries. Woolrich introduced its buffalo-check pattern in 1850, and its Arctic Parka, originally developed in 1972 for workers on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, remains in production. Supreme has collaborated with Woolrich on co-branded buffalo-check outerwear and wool blankets.
