Supreme x Ben Davis Beanie
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
Ben Davis has made workwear in San Francisco since 1935, founded by Ben Davis as a continuation of the Davis family's textile lineage that includes his grandfather's partner Levi Strauss. The company's cuffed knit beanie is part of its core line, made in the USA from 100% acrylic with a woven "Ben Davis" patch featuring the brand's gorilla mascot and the "Est. 1935 / Plenty Tough" marks. Supreme's Fall/Winter 2019 version is the same cuffed acrylic construction with a co-branded patch on the cuff and a Supreme logo embroidered at the rear. It released in September 2019 at $38 in black, dark navy, green, and pink.
About Ben Davis
Ben Davis is an American workwear brand founded in 1935 in San Francisco, California, by Ben Davis, a nephew of Levi Strauss. The brand is known for its durable work shirts, pants, and jackets favored by tradespeople, and is recognized worldwide by its distinctive Half-Moon logo hanging tag. Ben Davis clothing became embedded in West Coast hip-hop and lowrider culture in the 1990s, bridging the gap between blue-collar workwear and streetwear.
