About the original
Bitossi Ceramiche was founded in 1921 in Montelupo Fiorentino, Tuscany and the Rimini Blu line was designed by art director Aldo Londi in 1953. Each piece is hand-thrown earthenware dipped in Londi's cobalt-blue glaze and incised in horizontal bands of small geometric motifs; the vase in this collab carries rows of Xs, circles, hearts, and dotted stripes, with a Supreme wordmark incised into one of the bands. Londi was Bitossi's art director from 1946 until his death in 2003, and Rimini Blu is still made at the Montelupo workshop.
