Cordless Envy Li Adjustable Blade Clipper
About the original
The Andis Cordless Envy Li is a professional adjustable-blade hair clipper powered by a lithium-ion battery good for roughly two hours of runtime at 5,500 strokes per minute, with a 60-minute charge cycle and a quick-flash indicator when the battery is low. The adjustable blade slides between sizes 000 and 1 by thumb lever and can be zero-gapped for precision lineups. The entire unit weighs under ten ounces for all-day barbershop use. Andis was founded in 1922 in Racine, Wisconsin by Matthew Andis and has manufactured electric grooming tools out of Sturtevant, Wisconsin ever since. The FW17 Supreme collab adds red-and-white colorway branding and retailed at $98 against roughly $80 for the stock Envy Li.
About Andis
Andis is an American grooming-tool manufacturer founded in 1922 by Mathew Andis in Racine, Wisconsin. Andis developed the first electric hair clipper in his home basement after working as a tool maker at Mitchell Motor Car Company, and incorporated the Andis Clipper Company that year. The Master clipper, introduced in 1944, remains a barbershop standard and is still manufactured in the United States. The company is now headquartered in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, and remains family-owned through four generations, producing clippers, trimmers, and dryers for professional barbers, stylists, and animal groomers. Supreme collaborated with Andis on the FW17 Envy Li Adjustable Blade Clipper, a cordless lithium-ion clipper finished in red with co-branding.
