Supreme x Castelli Cycling Cap
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The Castelli cycling cap is a traditional five-panel polyester road-racing cap with a short fold-up brim and elastic rear band. Castelli traces its roots to the Vittore Gianni tailor shop founded in Milan in 1876; Maurizio Castelli launched the Castelli cycling brand in 1974, choosing a scorpion as its emblem, and has outfitted riders including Eddy Merckx, Mario Cipollini, and the EF Education-EasyPost Tour de France team. The Spring/Summer 2019 collaboration prints the Castelli scorpion and Rossocorsa script at the crown and the Supreme box logo on each side panel. It was made exclusively for Supreme in Black, White, and Light Blue and is not sold outside the collab. Retail was $32. Castellis standard Rosso Corsa cap uses the same pattern and sells for around $30.
About Castelli
Castelli is an Italian cycling apparel manufacturer tracing its origins to an 1876 Milan tailoring shop run by Vittore Gianni, which clothed football clubs including Milan and Juventus and cyclists including Alfredo Binda. Armando Castelli joined in 1935 and bought the business, supplying Gino Bartali, Fausto Coppi, and Jacques Anquetil. In 1974 his son Maurizio Castelli founded the current company under the scorpion logo, and in 1977 introduced Lycra to cycling shorts — a first in the sport. Castelli now outfits UCI WorldTour teams including Soudal Quick-Step and produces the Gabba jersey line. Supreme has released co-branded Castelli cycling apparel.
