Supreme vs. Original

Original — Clarks Originals
Clarks Originals Wallabee Weave Loafer
About the original
The Clarks Originals Woven Wallabee is a hand-woven take on the Wallabee, the moccasin-construction loafer Clarks has made in Somerset, England and abroad since 1967. The upper combines solid suede panels with interwoven leather strips that create a lattice of open vents across the vamp and quarters, sitting on the Wallabee's signature plantation crepe sole. Clarks was founded in Street, Somerset in 1825 and has sold more than fifty million pairs of the Wallabee line. The FW21 Supreme collaboration was the twelfth Supreme x Clarks release and the sixth on the Wallabee, offered in black, maple, tan, and green suede with a co-branded heel stamp. Clarks now sells a non-Supreme Wallabee Weave in the same construction.
About Clarks Originals
Clarks Originals is the heritage line of C. & J. Clark International Ltd., a British shoemaker founded in 1825 by Cyrus and James Clark in Street, Somerset, England. The brand introduced the Desert Boot in 1950 and the Wallabee in 1967, both of which became enduring fixtures across mod, reggae, hip-hop, and streetwear culture. Clarks remains family-owned and continues to manufacture through factories across Europe and Asia.
