NYC Print Button Up Shirt (Supreme exclusive)
About the original
The FW18 Supreme x Comme des Garcons SHIRT NYC Print Button Up is a cotton long-sleeve shirt with a front panel printed in an all-over collage of New York City imagery (Statue of Liberty, Times Square marquees, tabloid covers, yellow cabs, subway signage) set against solid black sleeves, back, and collar with a single chest pocket. Comme des Garcons SHIRT is Rei Kawakubo's garment-specialist division, founded in 1988 and produced in France, focused on men's shirting and separates as a counterpoint to the conceptual mainline. Released September 13, 2018 as part of the FW18 CDG SHIRT collab capsule, made exclusively for Supreme and retailed at $298.
About COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT
COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT is a menswear line of the Japanese label COMME des GARÇONS, which was founded in Tokyo in 1969 by designer Rei Kawakubo. The SHIRT line launched in 1988 and is produced in France, focused on reinterpreting traditional men's shirting through unconventional cuts, patchwork construction, and contrast fabrics. It is distributed under the Comme des Garçons Trading Museum. Supreme and COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT have released co-branded collections every year since 2012, typically covering shirts, trousers, and outerwear, making it one of Supreme's longest-running collaborative partnerships.
