Hoto is a Shenzhen-based smart-tool brand in the Xiaomi ecosystem, founded in 2018 and known for compact, color-coordinated household tools designed for apartment use rather than the job site. The set was nominated for an iF Design Award in 2022 for its compact layout and muted color palette. The Supreme SS2023 version is the same five tools and case produced in red with Supreme branding applied to each piece, distributed through the standard Supreme weekly drop.
About Hoto
Hoto, short for Home Tools, is a Chinese tool manufacturer founded in 2016 and headquartered in Zhuhai, Guangdong. Hoto is part of the Xiaomi ecosystem and first reached scale designing the Mijia precision screwdriver set, which sold over two million units between 2017 and 2020. The company's screwdriver bits are forged from S2 steel hardened to 60 HRC with anti-rust nickel plating.
