Studded Leather Belt
About the original
The Hollywood Trading Company (HTC) Studded Leather Belt is a handmade cowhide belt set with pyramid, dome, and ornamental metal studs on full-grain leather, finished with engraved silver-tone hardware. HTC was founded in Los Angeles in the mid-1990s by Zip Stevenson, who started cutting and studding vintage belts out of his LA workshop and sold them to musicians and production stylists; the brand now operates between its Los Angeles storefront and Italian leather ateliers, which handle some production. The SS23 Supreme collab extends the studded-belt template to patent leather panels with box-logo stud patterns and debossed foil branding, released alongside a matching wallet and keychain at $268 versus roughly $195 for a standard HTC belt.
About Hollywood Trading Company (HTC)
Hollywood Trading Company (HTC) is an American leather goods brand founded in the mid-1990s by vintage clothing dealer Zip Stevenson in Los Angeles, after Stevenson began making studded belts for himself in 1995. The brand produces hand-tooled leather belts, wallets, and accessories finished with sterling silver conchos, natural turquoise, and umbrella studs, drawing on 1950s West Coast and motorcycle-club iconography. Production is split between Los Angeles and Italy, with each piece assembled by hand. HTC belts became fixtures in rock and roll wardrobes through the 2000s and 2010s. Supreme's HTC collaboration used the brand's studded belt and wallet constructions.
