About the original
The James Brand is a Portland, Oregon design studio founded in 2012 that makes minimalist pocket tools. The Palmer is a slim aluminum-bodied utility box cutter using standard replaceable trapezoidal blades, with a patented tool-free blade-release mechanism. The SS2023 Supreme version is the same anodized aluminum Palmer with Supreme and James Brand logos laser-engraved on the front and back faces. It released May 25, 2023 at $78.
