About the original

Jordan Brand was launched by Nike in 1984 as Michael Jordan's signature line, originally just the Air Jordan 1 sneaker, and expanded into a standalone apparel and footwear division in 1997 under longtime Jordan creative Larry Miller. The jacket is a full-zip warm-up in brushed-back 100% polyester tricot with a stand collar, welt hand pockets, knit rib cuffs and hem, and a relaxed fit cut from a heavier weight than Jordan's standard Flight tricot. A tonal Jumpman is embroidered on the right chest; a tonal "Supreme" wordmark runs vertically down the left sleeve. Released October 3, 2024 at $188 in black, olive, and light blue; produced for this Supreme collaboration only and not offered through Jordan retail.

About Jordan

Jordan Brand is an American footwear and apparel subsidiary of Nike, Inc. founded in 1984 around basketball player Michael Jordan, who signed with Nike as a rookie and debuted the Peter Moore-designed Air Jordan 1 that year. Nike spun Jordan off as its own division in 1997, with the Jumpman silhouette, taken from a 1984 LIFE magazine photograph, as its logo. The line has produced numbered models from the Air Jordan 1 through 39, plus the Retro program that reissues archival colorways. Jordan Brand generates over $7 billion in annual revenue. Supreme's Jordan collaborations have included the Air Jordan 5 and Air Jordan 14.
