The Nalgene 32-ounce Wide Mouth Sustain bottle is molded from Tritan Renew copolyester containing 50% certified recycled content, with a 63mm wide mouth that fits ice cubes or a water filter, a leakproof attached lid, and BPA- and BPS-free, dishwasher-safe construction. Nalgene has made its outdoor bottles in Rochester, New York since 1949, when the company began as a manufacturer of laboratory pipette holders before hikers in the 1970s discovered their lab bottles were leakproof and odor-resistant. The 32-ounce Wide Mouth has been Nalgene's bestselling bottle for more than 30 years. The Supreme SS2020 collab uses the stock bottle with a box logo and co-branded graphics printed on the side.
About Nalgene
Nalgene is an American water bottle originally produced by the Nalge Company, founded in 1949 in Rochester, New York by chemist Emanuel Goldberg, who named the firm after his wife Natalie Levey Goldberg. The company began making polyethylene pipette jars and labware to replace fragile glass in research laboratories. In the 1970s, hikers and campers adopted the wide-mouth lab bottles for their durability and leak-proof seal. Nalgene formalized an outdoor line and, following bisphenol-A concerns, reformulated its bottles in BPA-free Tritan copolyester. The bottles are made in Rochester. Supreme's collaboration printed a box logo on the standard 32-ounce wide-mouth bottle.
